General Conference

Well I don’t have a lot of time, but I want to say first of all, I know that my redeemer lives. What joy that this sweet sentence gives, he lives, he lives who once was dead. I have felt his hands on my shoulders supporting me this week and there has been a peace I have felt in my heart. The last two weeks were a little difficult. I was playing three people but I know that this would be only a few short seconds in the mission. Even though there was a lot of things that I had to do I could always get them done.

Today were the transfers and I got my new companion elder De La Cruz from Mexico! I know him from back when I was in Bosques and we are so excited to see the progress that this zone Is making. We recently introduced a standard of Excellence that includes working 65 hours out of the pench, talking with a ton of people and helping in the ministering effort. Our zone has seen many miracles in just one week doing this and I know that we will see even more in the next few weeks.
General Conference was great! I loved all the talks and I had many strong feelings and impressions. I loved the Talks by President Nelson, President Ballard and by Elder Holland. I loved listening and thinking about how this is the Lords church. God has a plan for each of us. He knows us and our struggles, our pains and our weaknesses. We brought 5 investigators to the Saturday evening session and they loved it. As we were watching I saw the spirit testify to them that what the people were saying was true.
Today we had the transfers. I had to create plans of travel for every missionary coming to and leaving my zone. Last night I called the other zone leaders and we worked together to make plans so that no one was ever alone. Today we woke up early, went to the train station and waited to send people with the people who needed to go with them.
Love you!
