First Birthday in the field!
The last 5 days were
interesting. My Birthday was awesome! We woke up and worked in a hidden villa
that we didn’t know existed and found 2 new investigators and 2 inactive
families. One of them wanted to get active again but moved out there 4 years
ago and couldn’t find the chapel. We had a lesson with this family that
actually is a part member family and it went great. They want us to do a noche
de hogar (family home evening) with them. After that we went to lunch at the
gaucho and had steak. It was really good. Then we went back to the pench did
our weekly planning and studies. Then we ordered two huge pizzas and ate one.
It was a great birthday!
(This was the mug cake I sent him with a new coat and oil vial)
It has rained hard
every day since then. It was extremely hard to work in the rain because
Argentines have a fear of the rain, but with four straight days of rain we
pulled off our second best week of the transfer! Not just that, our part member
family we are teaching got the date and time to get married! May fourth! I am a
little sad because I may not be in Quilmes to see them married and baptized but
in one year I may have the opportunity to leave the mission and go to the
temple with them. That would be the coolest experience in the world! So that
was my last 5 days and I hope that the next 7 will be great.
I know that the church
is true and families are forever!
