a young Jedi Knight and his friend left the southern end of the silver belt to go to a meeting of all the Jedi masters. 

Ok I’m going to stop, don’t want to get trunky. 

This week was awesome! We went back to Quilmes to have Jedi Council or in other words Leader Council. It was awesome! We learned about a few changes that will take place over the next month or so to help the mission. There are a lot of really good changes that are going to come from this. We learned about the vision of President Gifford: preach repentance and baptize converts. President Gifford is awesome! He knows that his time here is limited and wants to make sure that we know the same. Because of this he has changed a few things so that we have the opportunity to use our time effectively. As Zone Leaders he wants us to have a ton of intercambios (4-5 every week). Because when we are in intercambios we are best able to teach the other missionaries in our zones. This will be a little hard because our zone is small in numbers but large in distance, we have a few ideas on how this will work and we are excited to see how well it will work. We talked a lot about many things during the Leadership meeting but we only now need to implement it. 

On Saturday we also had a baptism. Brisa was baptized on Saturday by Elder Lima. It was a very spiritual baptismal service. She had been investigating for many months and then hit a wall. The missionaries couldn’t find out what was happening and so stopped passing by. Then when we were in Veronica (wow only one week ago) she texted us and asked what chapter in the Book of Mormon she should read. We then had the opportunity to teach her and we found the wall. She was worried that if she got baptized she would stay firm for a few weeks or months and then fall away. We were able to talk about the atonement of Jesus Christ and reading the scriptures and she agreed to be baptized. 

I know that the church is true! There is no doubt in my mind that Jesus leads and guides his church through living men called by god! Prophets lead and guide his church just as they always have. Russel M. Nelson is the prophet right now. I sustain him and I hear his voice. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he lives. He died for our sins and was resurrected. This is the work of God "para llevar a cabo la imortalidad y la vida eterna del hombre".

OK entonces voy a darles otro oportunidad de leer en castellano. Esta semana era de once. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ir al quilmes para la conferencia de liderazgo. Elder Lima y Yo Tuvimos que salir temprano en la mañana para que podíamos llegar a las 9 en la mañana. Quilmes ha cambiado un montón en los ultimo 3 meses. Hay nuevos tiendas y es diferente. Aye en Consejo aprendíamos sobre nuevos cambios que va a pasar en los próximo meses. Voy a escribir sobre eso en (Jedi Councel). Que tenga una buena semana!
