...and the nation screamed, "GOOOOOAAAALLLLL"!

Wow this week was crazy with two world cup matches for Argentina. The first with Nigeria to qualify for the finals. The second with France. Tuesday the game was ok because we were studying when the match was going on “pure dumb luck “on our part. This worked so well that we decided to do that again Saturday. We asked a member when the game was.... or rather 5 different members and they each told us at 2:00. So, we planned to be studying when the match was happening. We traveled by bus at 10:00 to our farthest area for a few citas and all of them fell. We kept going and passed a house that had a tv and there were a ton of people watching this match. We then realized why all of our citas were falling, and then the coolest thing in the world happened everyone yelled Gooooooaaaaaaallllllll!!!!!!!!! Gooooooooooaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!! and then Argentina lost.

This week we had a ton of cool experiences. We started working more with some members and had a pretty cool experience. We were walking and felt like we needed to visit another member who was not in our plans. We went and visited him and when we rang the doorbell, the mom of a recent convert said, "Hey, the boys from the church are here for you". Elder Torres and I looked at each other nervously because we both thought the same thing. Testigos but it wasn’t. It was the Elders Quorum President with one of his counselors, here to bring the sacrament to this member who has cancer. After finishing participating in the sacrament this member said that his chest had a lot of pressure and his left arm was in a ton of pain and so we called an ambulance and he went to the hospital with our encouragement. 

I got to visit a ton of people this week and saw a huge change in Jorge, the dad of Marcos. When we were first in his house he tried to Bible bash us. We decided to pray about what to do and we decided that we would answer his questions but that we weren’t going to focus on teaching him. We instead decided to focus on teaching Marcos. And then at the baptism of Marcos and the confirmation he felt the spirit and now wants to get baptized.

I don’t have a lot of time left but I just wanted to say that the church is true.

Nelson es el profeta de Dios Hoy en Día y que Jesucristo es en la cabeza de la Iglesia. Se que un Joven de 14 años vio Dios y Jesucristo y que por medio de el Ellos podían restaurar la iglesia que fue perdida.
