Just another week.

Yeah, so not a lot has happened since the last time I emailed ya’all. We went to the far ends of our area in search of investigators. One of our areas has a lot of apartment buildings and expensive houses. as you can probably bet we did not have too much success there (or any), but we went to the opposite end and that was better. There are regular houses away from big city and the people are a lot more receptive. 

I keep forgetting to mention our crazy gospel principles teacher. The more I understand Spanish the more I laugh and cry. She is an awesome member and all the missionaries love her and hate her because she has some crazy ideas that you can kind of understand why she says what she does. The class is for people who are learning the principles of the gospel (investigators and recent converts) but she likes to take it to the extremely deep doctrine. one game that we play is how many times does hermana Montenegro say endowment? A common phrase is "YOU HAVE TO GO TO CHURCH!!!!!! It doesn’t matter if no one says hi to you!!!! You have to go to church, so that you can get baptized and receive your endowment." There really was not a lot of things that happened this week.

I want to let you all know that I know that this church is true. I know that Jesus Christ is our savior and redeemer. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that President Russel M. Nelson is a prophet of God. I know that The Book of Mormon is the word of God and if we read it often we will be protected from the things of the world. I challenge each of you to read it every day. Apply it in your lives. I love the people down here and I love you up there.
