Week Twelve
Wow this was a crazy week. Elder Glenn and I dropped or were
dropped by 23 investigators. It was hard because we cared about all of them but
they each had different reasons to drop them. It hurts but we know it is for
the best because we can now use the time to find and teach people who will
progress. We have a couple investigators who are progressing well and we should,
if it is the will of God, be able to baptize this transfer. I don’t have a lot
of time because I logged in and found a ton of emails this week but one crazy.
Saturday night it rained hard and the streets were very wet Sunday. We went to
teach a lesson about 5 blocks from the river and came out to find the streets a
little wetter, or rather a lot wetter. The puddle we had crossed just an hour
earlier was a foot and a half. People were walking in the water like nothing
was happening. Apparently every now and then the river floods. Usually only an
inch but this time it was a bit more. We tried playing “the ground is lava” to
try to get across the street to a strip of high land that took us away but we
lost;)
I’m out of time today!
Love Elder Cahoon
